About Bridge Connections

We are a Christ-centered, 501c3 non-profit, service organization that works to connect underresourced organizations worldwide to Western churches, businesses, and individuals who are anxious to make a difference. Our heart is to partner with programs that minister to orphans and widows.

James 1:27 says,
“Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father
means caring for orphans and widows in their distress
and refusing to let the world corrupt you.” (NLT)

Our ministry is about serving. We believe that life transformation occurs most effectively through serving others. Bridge Connections, Inc. plans and leads service trips for others so they can serve needy organizations abroad. We also supply these organizations with leadership training, accountability and financial support.

Our ministry is about relationships. We want to know the vision of the leaders we serve. We want sponsors to know the voices of the children they are feeding. We want deep friendships to form between teammates on our service trips. We want to experience the enthusiasm of the church liaisons who champion our ministry to their congregations. We want to forge lasting partnerships between churches and grassroots organizations abroad.

Bridge Connections is primarily focused on impacting three populations:

1. Grassroots Organizations.

We want to empower grassroots organizations – specifically those that focus on serving widows and orphans. We focus on holding up the arms of organizations indigenous to the community they are serving because they already intimately know the language, culture and needs. These organizations in poor communities often lack the funding, training, and mentorship they crave to grow and succeed.

2. Individual Servants.

We want to empower individuals of all ages and denominations to be the hands and feet of Christ. We believe that service is often the catalyst for radical lifechange. We want those who experience service on the mission field to come home ready to make the changes necessary to become more passionate, more mature, more active followers of Jesus Christ. Through encountering another people group and a foreign culture, we hope servants will develop a broader understanding of how the image of God is revealed in all of mankind.

3. Local Churches.

We want to empower local churches to serve globally. Cross-cultural service is an incredible way to help local churches live beyond themselves and join up with what God is doing in the corporate Church. When congregants return from a service trip, we hope they will not only inspire their church family through sharing their experiences, but also use their newly discovered strengths to plug into ministries in the local body.
