Our Vision
3 by 2013
In order for an organization to be healthy they must have a long-term vision or goal. One author (Jim Collins) writes in his book “Good to Great” that in order for an organization to be great they must have a goal that is big, hairy and audacious.
For Bridge Connections, Inc. our BHAG (Big, Hairy, Audacious Goal) is to be resourcing 3 grassroots orphan ministries by the year 2013. In order for this to happen, we need your partnership. If you are interested in going and serving on one of our trips, volunteering at the home base of Bridge Connections, Inc. or if you are interested in investing financially in the work of Bridge Connections, Inc. contact Katie Kilgore. bridgeconnections@gmail.com
Resourcing?
To “resource” a grassroots orphan ministry means:
- That the orphans have access to clean water.
- That the orphans have access to the gospel.
- That the orphans have comfortable and sanitary shelter.
- That the orphans have a way of growing and obtaining an adequate food supply.
Locations:
We are currently investing most of our efforts in our first established site in Uganda, Africa. However we are looking to establish a site in El Salvador in 2010. In upcoming years we hope to establish our 3rd site by 2013 in Russia or China.
